Our e-Bike Tours & Tastings are launching in a couple of weeks – this is a fantastic way to see the estate, and hear all about the history of this part of Herefordshire. This is a stunning time to visit Herefordshire – and we do have some availability in our properties – here. The e-Bike Tours terrain is varied and interesting, cycling along blackcurrant rows, through orchards and vineyards, along a disused railway line – it’s so much fun. You also taste all the drinks made from the fruits grown on the Estate. Afterwards, guests can enjoy Herefordshire’s finest artisan foods in an Off-Grid dining experience. There are local cheeses, meats, home baked treats, salads, breads and other Herefordshire artisan goodies. Guests enjoy the meal at a rustic table set in the vineyard with spectacular panoramic views into Wales, Shropshire and Worcestershire. The feedback is is extremely positive with hen parties, groups of friends, families, and individuals all having enjoyed the experience.
We’ve had some glorious sunshine over the last few weeks, even though it’s still chilly at night. The blackcurrant twigs we planted a few weeks ago are already putting on some green leafy growth. It’s incredible how fast they get established. The next two weeks will see the cider apple orchards bursting into bloom. Summer is on its way.
