Our four day tours are all inclusive luxury excursions that are run by White Heron in association with the Slow Cyclist. This is all inclusive quality. Our overnight stays will be in exclusive and interesting accommodation (starting and ending at our own 5* The Colloquy), all food, meals, snacks and all drinks (both alcoholic and not), guides, bikes, cultural commentators, fully hosted, relaying of batteries and luggage and amazing surprising extras. The tour has been curated and designed with every comfort in mind and you will not have to think of a thing during your tour except for ensuring the pedals go round! Please ensure you wear suitable clothing and footwear for walking or cycling around the farm, especially if wet.
Just sensible clothing and a water bottle. We provide the safety helmet.
The White Heron Meander can be arranged for groups of 6-10 people. For open dates the tour will operate with 6 people or more and we reserve the right to cancel with 48 hours notice (this would only happen in exceptional circumstances).
Children over 14 years of age can join the e-Bike Tour & Tasting, and will be offered soft drinks and strictly no alcohol. Dogs are not permitted to accompany the E-Bike tour, because of the risk of them becoming injured or causing cyclists to fall off.
Ridgeback bikes with Shimano batteries – 40/50 mile range. Our e-Bikes are excellent quality road/off road bikes with good suspension and knobbly tyres. We also provide guests with a safety helmet for cycling. (Or similar.)
